FEELGOODFELLAS LIVE - Windows beta

1. Sign in at https://feelgood-live.mbynum70.chatgpt.site/dashboard with your own ChatGPT account.
2. Create your event. Copy its event code.
3. Extract the entire ZIP and run INSTALL-FEELGOOD-LIVE.cmd. No admin rights required.
4. On first launch, paste your event code and choose your music folder.
5. Use the FEELGOODFELLAS LIVE desktop shortcut next time.
6. To change your music folder, run SETUP-FEELGOOD-LIVE.cmd in %LOCALAPPDATA%\FEELGOODFELLAS-LIVE.

Create a FEELGOOD APPROVED crate in Serato. Select it and leave Auto Play on.
Use Choose FEELGOOD APPROVED crate. The helper minimizes; click the FEELGOOD APPROVED crate name once.
Keep that crate visible; recalibrate after resizing Serato or scrolling the crate pane.
Click a request to search Serato. Approve & Add to Crate asks you to confirm the exact music version.
Approval transfers the file to the crate. Verify it appears before relying on playback.
The helper never directly starts or replaces a playing deck. Serato controls playback.
Requests and approvals need an internet connection. Local music stays on your computer.
The public guest link shows song titles, votes and status; protect private information.
Windows UI transfer has been tested on Mike's laptop; other screen layouts need beta testing.
Each event's dashboard is restricted to its creator. The helper reads the public guest queue by event code.
This beta does not include a Serato license, music files, Spotify integration or billing.

Song search now suggests close spelling matches from local filenames.
Choose a suggestion or edit the search text before searching Serato.
Artist abbreviations do not block title matches. Always confirm the correct version.

Version 0.4: the title bar identifies the updated helper.
Run INSTALL-FEELGOOD-LIVE.cmd once to keep one installed desktop shortcut.
Future updates replace installed helper files and preserve its settings.
The startup console stays open and records FEELGOOD-LIVE-startup.log in your Windows temporary folder.
The DJ dashboard button opens the member dashboard for subscriber events.
Paid request tiers appear beside the artist.

Version 0.5 Compact: smaller 340 × 420 window, shorter request rows and a smaller logo.
The helper stays on top of Serato. Drag the title bar to move it; drag an edge to resize.
Run INSTALL-FEELGOOD-LIVE.cmd from the newly extracted ZIP to update your installed copy.

Version 0.6: Search in Serato skips the song picker for one exact local match after the music scan finishes. Multiple versions, spelling suggestions, missing files and unfinished scans still open the picker. Approval remains a separate choice.

Version 0.7: Search in Serato goes directly to Serato using the requested title. Search external drive opens local file matches separately.

Version 0.8: all copies share your event code and music folder saved in %LOCALAPPDATA%\FEELGOODFELLAS-LIVE\settings.json. Legacy settings are imported when there are no shared settings. Updates never replace existing shared settings.

Version 0.9: larger FEELGOODFELLAS logo at the top of the floating window.

Version 0.10: the logo banner fills the top width, keeping the original image proportions as you resize the window.

Version 0.11: short horizontal banner displays the original logo symbol beside the wordmark, leaving more room for songs.
BRANDED DESKTOP LAUNCHER
The installer adds a FEELGOOD LIVE shortcut to both the Windows Desktop and Start menu.
The shortcut uses the FEELGOODFELLAS logo and opens only the DJ Helper widget.
The black PowerShell window stays hidden while the widget is running.
